This report presents an overview of the Special Programme of Research, Development and Research Training in Human Reproduction's (HRP) work over the biennium 2002-2003. Chapter 1 looks at activities in the area of family planning. Chapter 2 outlines research activities carried out in the context of WHO's Making Pregnancy Safer initiative.
