• Sommario/riassunto: Long description: In diesem Buch werden die verschiedenen Facetten der minoischen Stadtanlage von Gournia auf Kreta vorgestellt. Der Fokus liegt auf der Frage nach der Bedeutung der Siedlung: Hat es sich bei der spätbronzezeitlichen Siedlung um eine Stadt und somit um ein urbanes Zentrum gehandelt? Um diese Frage zu beantworten, werden nach einer allgemeinen Beschäftigung mit der Definition des Begriffs 'Stadt' die verschiedenen Elemente der Stadtanlage von Gournia analysiert: Sowohl deren Anlage, Besiedlungsgeschichte, Ausdehnung und Einwohnerzahl als auch einzelne Bestandteile der Siedlung wie mögliche Befestigungen, Wohnhäuser und besondere Bauten, darunter die Hafenanlage, das Ensemble von 'Palast' und 'öffentlichem Hof' sowie das 'Stadtheiligtum', werden betrachtet. Darüber hinaus wird die Stadtanlage von Gournia mit vier weiteren spätbronzezeitlichen Städten verglichen. Anhand eines Überblicks über das mögliche Einflussgebiet Gournias wird außerdem die Zentrumsfunktion der Siedlung innerhalb ; ihrer Region erläutert. Es werden auch potentielle Vorläufer- und Nachfolgesiedlungen im Umkreis von Gournia vorgestellt, um den zeitübergreifenden Wandel im gesamten Gebiet fassbar zu machen. Das Buch richtet sich an Leser und wissenschaftliche Fachkollegen, die ein Interesse an der minoischen Kultur und deren Stadtarchitektur haben oder sich speziell mit bronzezeitlichen ägäischen Siedlungen und den Elementen einer Stadt beschäftigen. • Sommario/riassunto: Ce colloque, qui s’est tenu le 6 décembre 2001, est le troisième du genre organisé par l’Observatoire permanent de la lecture publique à Paris (OPLPP), structure de coopération regroupant une dizaine d’institutions concernées par la lecture et les bibliothèques à Paris. L’un des objectifs de l’oplpp est de mutualiser les réflexions des institutions membres et de les rendre publiques, par le biais de rencontres et, ce qui est une nouveauté, de publications. Dans un paysage documentaire ; en pleine mutation, les membres de l’oplpp s’interrogent sur les orientations de la future politique documentaire en Île-de-France. Diversité des collections, variété des publics sont deux des aspects qu’ils ont à prendre en compte afin de tisser un réseau documentaire parisien le plus efficace possible et de transcender les frontières institutionnelles. De nombreux projets de la Ville de Paris tels moderniser le réseau des bibliothèques de proximité, entretenir des liens avec la couronne parisienne, etc., sont analysés par les intervenants de ce colloque. Une comparaison avec les politiques documentaires des bibliothèques de grandes villes étrangères est également établie en vue de tirer le meilleur des exemples fournis par nos voisins.
