Der innere Zusammenhang des deutschen Rechtsradikalismus, von den völkischen Vorläufern Hitlers bis zur NPD, lässt sich nur teilweise aus der Zahl und Bedeutung ehemaliger Pg`s in neonazistischen Parteien oder aus der wörtlichen Übereinstimmung von Programmen ableiten, die naturgemäß jeweils von taktischen Erwägungen bestimmt sind. Außerordentlich ergiebig aber ist die Untersuchung jener identischer Grundkategorien und -emotionen rechtsradikaler Ideologie und Propaganda, die durch alle Verschleierungen hindurch erkenntlich bleibt. Die Untersuchung des Politikwissenschaftlers Hermann Bott, die mit einer Fülle von Zitaten belegt ist, erkennt den egozentrischen, kompromiss- und umweltfeindlichen Nationalismus als die eigentliche psychologisch-propagandistische Drehscheibe der rechtsradikalen Gruppen. Xenophobie in der verschiedensten Form als das Spiegelbild deutschnationaler Introvertiertheit ist der eigentliche Inhalt dieses politischen Extremismus. Das am meisten überraschende und |

deprimierende Ergebnis dieser Untersuchung besteht darin, dass neben "Fremdarbeitern", der "schwarzen" und "gelben" Gefahr noch immer der - freilich verkappte - Antisemitismus als Einheitsnenner des propagierten Kampfes gegen "undeutsche Einflüsse" unentbehrlich ist. Die auf Anti-Gefühlen basierende Ideologie scheint mit dem abstrakten Gegner nicht auszukommen, sie braucht den namentlich genannten körperlichen "Feind". Als neue Form - nach Auschwitz - kommt der Entlastungs-Antisemitismus hinzu. Die Analyse der Verschleierung und Rückversicherungen, deren man sich dabei bedient, ist nicht weniger aufschlussreich. Der Verfasser weiß gleichwohl, dass der Rechtsradikalismus nicht nur eine deutsche Erscheinung darstellt. Sein Schlusskapitel ist der gedankenreiche Versuch, die allgemeinen Merkmale und Motivationen dieser Krankheit bloßzulegen. |
