Dieses Buch beschäftigt sich mit den sprachlichen Sozialisationsprozessen in kurdischen Migrantenfamilien in Österreich. Die kurdischen Familien bringen Staats- und Minderheitensprachen und deren Varietäten mit, zudem geschriebene und ungeschriebene Sprachen sowie Sprachen, die nur rezeptiv gebraucht, also gelesen, werden. Die Analyse umfasst die literalen Praktiken der Herkunftsgesellschaft und deren Integration in die Aufnahmegesellschaft. |

This book examines the linguistic socialization of Kurdish immigrant families in Austria. Kurdish immigrants arrive with knowledge of various national and minority languages, including dialects thereof, as well as languages they can read, but not speak, and vice versa. This book illuminatesliterary knowledge structures from the immigrants’ home countries as well as their linguistic integration in Austrian society. |
