• Sommario/riassunto: Au cours des deux dernières décennies, le champ de la recherche en gestion et des études organisationnelles a connu une croissance considérable. Parmi les productions dans le champ de langue française, certaines font date. Les travaux de notre regretté collègue Jacques Girin, regroupés dans cet ouvrage, entrent dans cette catégorie. Jacques Girin a en effet produit, au cours de sa carrière, un certain nombre d'articles et de chapitres d'ouvrages qui ont joué un rôle important. Jusqu'ici éparpillés dans des supports variés, parfois confidentiels, ils ont été regroupés ici dans un seul et même ouvrage pour permettre à tout enseignant-chercheur de langue française d'avoir accès à une pensée à la fois riche, originale et d'une grande pertinence pour la recherche contemporaine en gestion. Le lecteur pourra voir combien Jacques Girin s'affirme à travers ses travaux comme un des pionniers de la réflexion sur le langage dans les organisations, dans l'univers tant francophone que non francophone, combien l'idée de situation de gestion est féconde et combien ses positions sur la manière de faire de la recherche de terrain sont également originales.

• Sommario/riassunto: In recent years, academics, policy makers and media outlets have increasingly recognised the importance of Caribbean migrations and migrants to the histories and cultures of countries across the Northern Atlantic.Memory, Migration and (De)Colonisation furthers our understanding of the lives of many of these migrants, and the contexts through which they lived and continue to live. In particular, it focuses on the relationship between Caribbean migrants and processes of decolonisation. The chapters in this book range across disciplines and time periods to present a vibrant understanding of the ever-changing interactions between Caribbean peoples and colonialism as they migrated within and between colonial contexts.
