Demokratie wird auch im Alltag »gemacht«: in der Verteidigung oder Aufgabe persönlicher Freiheiten, im Zulassen von oder Aufbegehren gegen Ungerechtigkeiten, in Gesten des Sich-Einsetzens für Andere. Doch wie wird Gleichheit, Freiheit und Solidarität dabei konkret verhandelt? Dieser Frage nehmen sich die Beiträger*innen des Bandes anhand von Praxisbeispielen - ausgehend von dem partizipativen Forschungsprojekt »Making Democracy« - aus Demokratietheorie, Pädagogik und Kunstvermittlung an.
