Les enjeux environnementaux ne peuvent plus être éludés, l'activité économique des entreprises est alors mise en question. Innovation frugale et création innovante se place à mi-chemin entre économie et management en s'intéressant à l'entreprise, et plus particulièrement aux entreprises innovantes dans leurs interactions avec l'environnement naturel. Ce dernier peut être perçu par ces entreprises comme une contrainte coûteuse à prendre en compte, surtout dans une démarche d'innovation déjà par essence très onéreuse. innovant sans nuire à l'environnement naturel. Ainsi, l'enjeu est de proposer une forme d'innovation frugale susceptible de permettre l'innovation mais en intégrant d'emblée la prise en compte environnementale, d'où le concept avancé d'innovation frugale environnementale. En outre, par une interrogation sur la pratique de la création innovante (et plus encore si elle intègre la prise en compte du respect et de la préservation de l'environnement naturel), l'ouvrage dévoile l'importance de deux éléments clefs, rayonnant quelle que soit la modalité (plus ou moins technologique et/ou plus ou moins organisée), que sont l'improvisation et le bricolage. |
