Sommario/riassunto

This is a textual analysis of one of Kleist's dramas, which demonstrates how he drew its poetic images, themes and general atmosphere from the Prussian aristocracy into which he had been born. The drama is then compared to two other German plays with the theme of socially forbidden love.
