The Secure and the Dispossessed shows how the military and corporations plan to maintain control in a world reshaped by climate change. With one eye on the scientific evidence and the other on their global assets, dystopian preparations by the powerful are already fueling militarized security responses to the unfolding climate crisis. The implications for social and environmental justice are disturbing.
