Biographical note: In den Tagen nach den Anschlägen in Paris am 13. November 2015 beherrschte vor allem Angst die europäische Politik. Die Versammlungsrechte in Frankreich wurden kurzweilig ausgesetzt und auch im Rest Europas wurden die Sicherheitsmaßnahmen verschärft. Der Deutsche Bundestag entschied, Frankreich im Kampf gegen den selbsternannten „Islamischen Staat“ in Syrien zu unterstützen. Dieser dritte offensive Einsatz der Bundeswehr wurde innerhalb kürzester Zeit durchs Parlament gebracht. Mit Hilfe einer Argumentationsanalyse zeigt das Buch auf, mit welchen Begründungen der Einsatz in Politik und Massenmedien legitimiert wurde. Der zivilgesellschaftliche Protest blieb aus und lässt die Frage zurück, was aus pazifistischen Wertvorstellungen geworden ist. |
