Folge einer geschlechtspolarisierten Arbeitswelt; geführt von Aktoren, denen ein weiblicher 08/15 Alltag längst fremd geworden ist. Wurde aber je Lieschen Müller gefragt, welche Pläne sie für ihr Leben hat? Immer wieder im Lauf der Geschichte versuchten unterschiedlichste Kräfte zu entscheiden, welches Leben für das weibliche Geschlecht erstrebenswert sei. Heute haben Frauen endlich die Freiheit selbst zu entscheiden, wie sie ihre Vita, den eigenen Neigungen entsprechend, formen und gestalten möchten. Diese Gestaltungsfreiheit des beruflichen, edukativen und privaten Lebens sollte nicht unterminiert werden dürfen. Denn das, wofür wir uns interessieren, unsere Neigungen und Steckenpferde, kommen nicht von ungefähr. Wesentlich bestimmt werden sie durch die Ausprägung uns eres Gehirns. Wie aber sich unser Denkorgan entwickelt, wird wesentlich durch das pränatale Milieu mitbestimmt, in dem der Mensch rund neun Monate seines Lebens verbringt. In wieweit aber Hormone, denen wir im Mutterleib ausgesetzt waren, auch späte Entscheidungen, wie etwa die Berufswahl, beeinflussen, oder ob doch die Sozialisation ausschlaggebender hierfür ist - dieser Frage wird im vorliegenden Buch nachgegangen. |
