Sommario/riassunto |
|
"Minimally invasive aesthetics is one of the fastest growing fields of medicine today. A 2017 survey by the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS) revealed that over 8 million cosmetic procedures were performed by its members alone, a 19% increase from data the previous year. As the demand for and variety of these procedures continues to climb, it is paramount that one remains abreast of the advancements in the field of aesthetic medicine. The purpose of this handbook of minimally invasive aesthetic procedures is to provide the fundamentals one needs to understand how botulinum toxin, soft-tissue fillers, deoxycholic acid, laser and light devices, sclerotherapy, and minimally invasive surgical procedures can be utilized in cosmetic medicine"-- |
