Long description: Thema des Buches ist die Reflexion religiöser Zugehörigkeit im Rechtsdenken, in den politischen Verfassungen und der Rechtswirklichkeit des östlichen Europa. Wie imaginierten parlamentarische Vertretungen, Religionsgemeinden, Gelehrte und Literaten eine ethnisch-religiös gemischte Gesellschaft? Wie wirkten sich Herrschaftswechsel auf das Leben und die Institutionen der verschiedenen Religionsgemeinschaften aus? Auf welchen Ebenen konkurrierten Religionsgesetz, aufgeklärte Vernunft und staatliches Recht? Wie wurde ethnisch-religiöse Koexistenz theoretisch konzipiert und lokal praktiziert? Diese Fragen untersuchen die Beiträge dieses aus einer internationalen Konferenz in Lviv hervorgegangenen Bandes aus historischen, anthropologischen, rechts- und literaturwissenschaftlichen Perspektiven. |
