Des “prophètes du passé” aux “utopies” socialistes, Jean-René Derré s’interrogea sur l’implication politique de l’acte d’écrire, le lien entre idéologies, littérature et faits de civilisation. En hommage à sa mémoire, ses amis, ses collègues de l’U.E.R. de Lettres de l’Université Lyon II ont réuni nombre de ses articles. Le recueil n’est pas exhaustif, mais il regroupe des études disséminées dans des revues savantes et d’autres qui, lors de la disparition brutale de notre ami, étaient trop récentes encore pour la publication. Dans ces textes d’intérêt majeur pour l’historien des idées, on retrouvera la pénétration, la largeur de vues et de culture d’un grand comparatiste. |
