La couleur est une expérience, un vécu que l'individu et la société expriment par des représentations organisées et hiérarchisées et des appréhensions différentes du temps et de l'espace. La «couleur du temps» évoque à la fois les intensités de vies individuelles et collectives et les aléas qui président à ces mutations. Comme indice ou symptôme, la couleur renvoie aux grands drames du passé et révèle des formes qui donnent à voir les stratégies d'écriture de l'histoire. Entre omniprésence et oubli s'installe un jeu de plusieurs temporalités qui fixe, capte, mémorise ou efface la singularité de l'expérience africaine-américaine. |
