Sommario/riassunto

Edited by a professor at Harvard Medical School who has extensive experience in this field, this important and timely book presents a variety of perspectives on the organization of patient medical records around patient problems, presenting a more effective problem-oriented approach rather than the traditional data-oriented approach. It is comprehensive, covering the history and importance of the electronic health record, the attitudes toward and use of problem lists, strategies to improve the problem list, and applications in practice of the problem list.

Introduction -- High-temperature Mechanical Properties of Ceramic-Matrix Composites -- Design, Fabrication and Testing of CMC High-pressure Turbine Guide Vane -- Design, Fabrication and Testing of CMC Combustor Liner -- Design, Fabrication and Testing of CMC Turbine Blisk.

Sommario/riassunto

Ceramic-matrix composites (CMCs) possess high specific strength and specific modulus and have already been applied in hot-section components of aeroengines. The book focuses on the design, fabrication and testing of different CMC components, e.g., turbine guide vanes, combustor liner, and turbine blisk, etc. The high-temperature mechanical properties, and performance requirements of the aeroengines were also introduced. The book can better help the

engineering designers understand the methods used to design and testing in CMC components.
