A reissue of the sheets of the 1665 ed., which appeared under title "The second tome of An exact chronological vindication ...", and the addition of an engraved front. and 2 leaves containing "The explanation of the frontispiece." In this copy the original t.p., probably meant to be cancelled, has been retained. This volume was reissued at the time of publication of the first volume in 1666.

This vol. contains books 3-4 of the entire work.

An additional appendix (29 p.) contains addenda to the text.
