El origen de la bioética, su evolución y su vínculo con los derechos internacionalmente reconocidos se analizan en el manual Derecho y bioética, que sistematiza también los textos considerados de referencia en una disciplina que tiene todavía pendiente su definición, vinculada a los comités de ética desde el pasado siglo XX. Derecho y bioética también analiza las aportaciones de la bioética a la ética médica, proporcionando ejemplos, y los aspectos bioéticos y jurídicos de la investigación biomédica en humanos, incluyendo el big data y la experimentación con animales no humanos. Asimismo, permite profundizar en las cuestiones bioéticas y jurídicas de la reproducción humana asistida, la gestación por sustitución y el diagnóstico genético preimplantacional. Finalmente, la obra identifica los retos tecnológicos, éticos, políticos y sociales de los sistemas alimentarios. |
