|
Long description: Viele, die sich tagtäglich für Erziehung und Bildung junger Menschen engagieren oder künftig engagieren wollen, hat ein ungutes Gefühl beschlichen. Die Zweifel nehmen zu, ob es in den bildungspolitischen Änderungen der letzten beiden Jahrzehnte überhaupt noch um Bildung geht. Hat sich Bildung mit dem gegenwärtigen ökonomisierten Bildungsverständnis erübrigt? Selbstverständlich kann man den klassisch-traditionellen Bildungsbegriff nicht einfach in die heutige Zeit übertragen. Geht man jedoch davon aus, dass die Vorstellung von Bildung mit der Idee des Humanen, des menschlichen Menschen, einer demokratischen Gesellschaft usw. untrennbar verknüpft ist, gilt es Bildung neu zu denken. Dies wird hier in einem ganzheitlichen Zugang unternommen. Die lange geltende kognitive Verengung der Bildungsvorstellung wird mit anderen Bildungsdimensionen, der ästhetischen, emotionalen, ethischen, sozialen, v.a. aber der physischen, ergänzt. Es ist an der Zeit, die Leiblichkeit des Menschen ernst zu nehmen, sich -- wenn es letztlich der Sinn von Bildung ist, zu einem gelingenden Leben beizutragen -- auch um Körper-Bildung zu kümmern.
