Sommario/riassunto |
|
Filling the gap between doctor and patient, pharmacists are in an ideal position to positively influence health literacy. After a concise examination of health literacy - what it is, how it impacts health care, and how it may present during patient/pharmacist interactions - this program employs four scenarios to illustrate how to read the signs of low health literacy and then tailor information and instructions to ensure that the patient understands. |
