Salih Alexander Wolter stellt schwule Literatur vor: von changierenden Identitäten bei »Klassikern« von Jean Genet, Juan Goytisolo und Hubert Fichte bis hin zu zeitgenössischen Perspektiven von Perihan Mağden und küçük iskender. Er geht auf die realen Umstände ein, die das Schreiben der Autor*innen prägten und inspirierten, und zeigt, dass sich in ihren Arbeiten und Biografien gleichzeitig auch immer die gerade aktuellen gesellschaftlichen und politischen Auseinandersetzungen spiegeln.
