• Sommario/riassunto: Dieser Band enthält Kommentare, Anmerkungen und vollständige deutsche Übersetzungen zu den im Band VIII,1 edierten Texten zur Aufnahme und Ausbreitung der copernicanischen Theorie im 16. Jahrhundert. Neben den Schriften von Georg Joachim Rheticus (1514-1574) über die heliozentrische Kosmologie werden die De revolutionibus-Kommentare von Erasmus Reinhold (1511-1553) und Nicolaus Mulerius (1564-1630) durch umfangreiche Interpretationen erschlossen.; This volume contains commentaries, extensive annotations, and complete translations into German of the edited texts in volume VIII/1 on the reception and spread of Copernican theory in the sixteenth century. Above all the writings on heliocentric cosmology by Georg Joachim Rheticus (1514-1574), the De revolutionibus commentaries of Erasmus Reinhold (1511-1553) and of Nicolaus Mulerius (1564-1630) are translated and commented.
