Mr. Ruggles, from the Committee of Claims, made the following report: The Committee of Claims, to whom was referred the petition of William Smith, of the parish of St. Eustache, in the District of Montreal, in Lower Canada, attorney for all the heirs of the late Francis [i.e. Francois] Cazeau, report: That the petitioner's claim is for indemnity and compensation for losses sustained, and services rendered to the United States .
