Aucune de ces contributions ne conçoit les patrimoines culturels comme des corpus établis d’œuvres du passé achevées qui feraient l’objet d’une conservation illusoirement neutre idéologiquement. Elles éclairent au contraire la patrimonialisation en tant que processus dynamique d’interaction avec la création, celle-ci étant entendue au sens large de production artistique, culturelle et sociale dont les enjeux sont aussi bien esthétiques que politiques et institutionnels. L’accent est mis sur l’impact spatial (local et mondial ; territoires naturels et espaces urbains), temporel (passé et présent) et institutionnel (littérature, musées, urbanisme, configuration du territoire) de collaborations interdisciplinaires qui impliquent souvent des négociations complexes entre les différents acteurs. Ces perspectives diverses contribuent ainsi toutes à mettre au jour ce que masquent souvent les termes de « préservation » ou de « conservation », à savoir la dimension performative de la patrimonialisation. |
