Avant 1914, les industries francaises du cinema et de l'aviation dominent le monde. La cause de cette situation ? La guerre des patents declenchee aux Etats-Unis par Edison et les freres Wright. Le patent americain, a la difference du brevet d'invention francais, donne la possibilite de produire des brevets larges, dans le but de controler tout ou partie d'une industrie.
