L’ensemble des articles composant cet ouvrage concerne l’idéologie et la mythologie de la femme au xixe siècle. La première partie résulte des travaux, à la fois personnels et collectifs, du Centre d’Études « Littérature et idéologies au xixe siècle » de l’Université de Lyon II, qui s’est intéressé plus particulièrement à l’idéologie de la femme dans l’histoire écrite, dans la littérature et dans le journalisme ; la seconde partie est liée à l’enseignement donné en Licence à l’Université de Lyon II : elle retrouve les mêmes thèmes, mais transmués dans l’ordre du discours romanesque balzacien (La Fille aux yeux d’or). |

|
The first clinical application of intraocular lens (IOL) goes back to 1949 when Dr. Harold Ridley successfully implanted a PMMA IOL into an eye on 29 November 1949. This innovation is a big step forward for cataract surgery. With development of the IOL material and biocompatibility, more and more IOL types have been used in clinical ophthalmology. This book is the fruit of worldwide cooperation between clinical teams. In this book we discuss the IOL materials and design, aberration and astigmatism correction with IOL, entopic phenomenon of IOL, myopia and phakic IOL, and secondary IOL techniques. We believe that this content provides the readers with a comprehensive knowledge of the latest developments of IOL. |

Paul Wender began his career treating children with ADHD 37 years ago and has treated adults with the disorder for almost 30 years. His exhaustive research and insight gained from clinical practice led to the first book about ADHD in children (Minimal Brain Dysfunction in Children, 1971). Continuing research revealed that in many instances ADHD persisted into adult life, and that adult ADHD included symptoms that were not present in childhood. These findings resulted in his 1995 book Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder in Adults. He also authored the first book for the parents of children |
