Sommario/riassunto

The African Development Bank's (AfDB) Addis Ababa Forum in June 2003 focused on the role of women entrepreneurs in private sector development, poverty reduction, and sustainable growth and development. It provided an opportunity for the AfDB and the International Labour Office (ILO) to join forces using their complementary expertise in support of women-owned businesses in Tanzania, Ethiopia and Zambia. Sommario/riassunto

Die anonymen Consularia Constantinopolitana bieten neben einer römischen Konsulliste bis 468 n. Chr. auch knappe Notizen aus der römischen Geschichte. Besonders für die Spätantike erweist sich diese Chronik als wertvolle Quelle. Die neue Edition umfasst den Abschnitt vom 3. bis zum 5. Jahrhundert n. Chr., der wichtige Daten zur Reichsgeschichte sowie zur Lokalgeschichte der neuen Hauptstadt am Bosporus liefert.  Der Band enthält ferner die Fragmente der erstmals aus Sokrates‘ Kirchengeschichte rekonstruierten ‚Konstantinopolitanischen Chronik‘ (Fastenquelle) sowie die Edition und Übersetzung eines Abschnitts aus der sogenannten Alexandrinischen Weltchronik.
