La critique de l’historicisme par Maurice Blondel annonce la sortie du modernisme marquée par les réflexions et les travaux de Raymond Aron et d’Henri-Irénée Marrou dont l’ouvrage De la connaissance historique permet une approche renouvelée de l’histoire des origines du christianisme. Enfin le grand essai d’Henri-Irénée Marrou sur une Théologie de l’Histoire inspirée de saint Augustin et de la culture contemporaine, qui se trouve commenté ici parAndré Mandouze, illustre bien le génie d’un homme quiétait à la fois historien, musicologue, philosophe et théologien. |
