In twenty-four papers scholars from Europe and North America examine various aspects of the economies, politics and culture of Britain and Poland-Lithuania from the Middle Ages down to the Third Partition. Die vorliegende Arbeit untersucht die Veränderungen des Polnischen, die innerhalb der Morphemstrukturen bei der Generierung der Flexions- und Derivationsformen vorkommen. Aus der Vielzahl der Veränderungen (z. Bsp. Geminierung oder Tilgung von Elementen, Konsonantenwechsel, etc.) behandelt die Arbeit ausschließlich die Vokalwechsel des Polnischen.
