Das durchschossene Handexemplar Grimms von dessen deutscher Übersetzung der Srpska gramatika, wie sie Karadžić 1818 seinem Srpski rječnik voranstellte, empfahl sich besonders zur Faksimilierung, da Jacob Grimm in sein Exemplar zahlreiche Korrekturen und Ergänzungen mit eigener Hand eingetragen hat. Diese aufschlußreichen Einträge bezeugen zusammen mit der berühmten ,Vorrede' Grimms intensive Auseinandersetzung mit der serbokroatischen Sprache, |

zeigen aber auch - in kritischer Auseinandersetzung mit Dobrovsky, Kopitar, Vostokov und Karadžić - Ansätze zu einer vergleichenden slavischen Grammatik. Grimms durchschossenes Handexemplar der Kleinen serbischen Grammatik ist in Originalgröße und vollständig faksimiliert, jedoch wurden nur jene zusätzlichen Seiten nachgedruckt, die auch tatsächlich eine handschriftliche Notiz aufweisen. |
