• Sommario/riassunto: Im Rahmen der europäischen Integration hat die Wettbewerbsordnung immer eine bedeutende Rolle gespielt. Ausufernde industriepolitische Bestrebungen und Förderprogramme drohen jedoch die Wettbewerbsordnung der Gemeinschaft auszuhöhlen und führen zu einer weitreichenden Politisierung der Entscheidungsprozesse, wodurch die wettbewerblichen Elemente mehr und mehr zurückgedrängt werden. Das Spannungsverhältnis zwischen Wettbewerbs- und Industriepolitik ist dabei Ausdruck für den ordnungspolitischen ; Konflikt, zwischen der Integration durch einen Wettbewerb der Systeme und der Integration durch Harmonisierung. Während die Wettbewerbspolitik die dezentrale Integration betont, steht die Industriepolitik für die zentralisierte und damit weitgehend institutionelle Integration. In einer detaillierten Analyse werden sowohl die ökonomischen als auch rechtlichen Aspekte der Wettbewerbs- und Industriepolitik dargestellt und ihre Auswirkungen auf den Integrationsprozeß untersucht. Auf der Grundlage dieser Ergebnisse werden dann Bausteine für eine Wettbewerbsordnung des Systemwettbewerbs als ordnungspolitische Perspektive der europäischen Integration abgeleitet.
