|
Hohe und weiter steigende Bewertungsniveaus an Aktien- oder Immobilienmärkten werden von Beobachtern aus Wirtschaft, Politik, Medien und der akademischen Welt oft als Vermögenspreisinflation («Asset Inflation») bezeichnet und als ein wirtschaftspolitisches Problem interpretiert, zu dessen Lösung Notenbanken und Finanzaufsichtsbehörden aufgerufen werden. Die Arbeit verfolgt das Ziel, das vorhandene volkswirtschaftliche Wissen über Vermögenspreisinflation strukturiert darzustellen und so zu einer systematischeren Diskussion des Problems beizutragen. Hierzu werden nacheinander die begrifflichen, empirischen, theoretischen und wirtschaftspolitischen Aspekte von Vermögenspreisinflation analysiert. Dabei wird insbesondere auf Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten für ein zinspolitisches «Gegensteuern» eingegangen, das aus Sicht des Autors derzeit noch keine praktikable Lösung darstellt. |
