Os textos deste livro se propõem a qualificar o debate acerca das ações de alimentação e nutrição na Atenção Básica. Os autores refletem sobre o conjunto de práticas de cuidados essenciais ao campo da alimentação e nutrição nas atividades diárias das Unidades Básicas de Saúde (UBS) das equipes de Saúde da Família. Espera-se, assim, contribuir para processos de trabalho coerentes com os princípios da integralidade do cuidado. A questão do cuidado é o fio condutor das análises, com base em reflexões da prática dos autores, dialogando com referências do campo teórico.
