• Sommario/riassunto: Obwohl bekannt ist, dass viele Jugendliche Texte von unzureichender Qualität produzieren und damit in unserer literalen Gesellschaft benachteiligt sind, ist ihr Schreiben bislang wenig untersucht. Das gilt insbesondere für ihren Schreibprozess, welcher die Grundlage der qualitativ schwachen Textprodukte bildet und an dem eine gezielte Förderung in erster Linie ansetzen sollte. Diese Studie zielte daher darauf, den Schreibprozess schwach schreibender Jugendlicher im Detail zu ergründen. Dazu wurde zunächst die Schreibleistung von 178 Achtklässlerinnen und Achtklässlern anhand einer argumentativ-persuasiven Schreibaufgabe sowie einer Lehrpersoneneinschätzung erhoben. Auf dieser Basis wurden kriteriengeleitet 14 Jugendliche ausgewählt und ihr Schreibprozess bei einer weiteren Schreibaufgabe mittels der Methode des lauten Denkens, der Aufzeichnung durch einen digitalen Stift und durch Videobeobachtung erfasst und inhaltsanalytisch auf die ausgeführten Aktivitäten hin ausgewertet. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass die Jugendlichen im Schreibprozess zahlreiche verschiedene Aktivitäten mitunter in hoher Häufigkeit und mit der theoretisch erwartbaren Verteilung einsetzen. Schwierigkeiten werden allerdings bei Betrachtung der Qualität der Ausführung der Aktivitäten erkennbar. Daraus ergeben sich verschiedene Implikationen für die Schreibförderung.
