The winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature, Elfriede Jelinek, has decisively shaped the development of literature over the last 50 years and has repeatedly expanded the 'space of the possible'. This study reconstructs the most important stages of her development from the first novel to the 21st century and profiles the innovativeness of her literature against the background of the literary field. The aesthetic genealogy of the author is thus made comprehensible anew. |
