Cet ouvrage interdisciplinaire interpellera tout lecteur intéressé aux danses de couple et plus spécialement au tango argentin, théâtre de nombreux corps à corps. Les notions d’identité, de séduction et d’esthétisme, les rapports homme-femme, l’histoire, la poésie et la dynamique artistique sont autant de phénomènes traités ici par des auteurs français, américains et québécois qui ont du tango une connaissance scientifique doublée d’une expérience pratique : non seulement en parlent-ils, mais ils le dansent. Ensemble, ils dévoilent plusieurs facettes de cette danse qui sont rarement éclairées puisque les projecteurs sont tournés, le plus souvent, vers la scène où évoluent les danseurs professionnels. Le tango dont on parle ici est celui qu’on improvise à deux, à partir d’une sorte de dialecte connu partout dans le monde. Il est abordé selon de multiples perspectives telles que la sociologie, l’ergothérapie, la psychologie, l’anthropologie, la géomatique, les arts, la littérature et même le droit. |
