Der für Armenien schlechte Ausgang des Krieges in Arzach/Berg-Karabach 2020 hat in seiner Folge auch deutsche Theologinnen und Theologen zu einer Initiative veranlasst, die auf das kulturelle Erbe der Region aufmerksam macht. Damit knüpften sie an die historisch gewachsene Verbindung zwischen deutscher Wissenschaft und Armenien an, die mit dem Interesse am Reichtum und der Schönheit dieser Kultur zusammenhängt, dessen Erbe durch Kriege und Fremdherrschaft immer wieder gefährdet war. Im Schatten des Krieges von 2020 wirft diese Dokumentation einen ersten Blick auf die geretteten Schätze aus Arzach/Berg-Karabach und stellt Initiativen und Persönlichkeiten vor, die sich für das Land und seine Menschen engagierten und engagieren. |
