Le royaume de Sidon tenait sa place dans le Levant du Bronze Récent, mais peu de restes archéologiques en témoignaient ; c’est ce qui a fait l’intérêt de la nécropole de Sidon-Dakerman, objet de la thèse de R. Saïdah sur Sidon au Bronze Récent (université Paris I, 1977). La publication, retardée par la guerre, vient d’être achevée,avec une mise à jour par M. Yon et des compléments bibliographiques tenant compte des travaux et découvertes des 25 dernières années. The kingdom of Sidon held its place in the Late Bronze Age Levant but was evidenced by few archaeological remains, which explains the significance of the necropolis of Sidon-Dakerman, the topic of R. Saïdah’s thesis on Late Bronze Age Sidon (University of Paris I, 1977). The publication was delayed by the war and has just been completed, including an update by M. Yon and bibliographic supplements taking account of the work and finds of the last 25 years. |
