Este tercer volumen de estudios binacionales argentino-chilenos continúa y profundiza las indagaciones acerca de la construcción de sentidos sociales en el espacio denominado Araucanía-Norpatagonia. Nuevamente, el punto de partida es la pluralidad de un territorio de límites difusos y artificiosos, pluralidad que se evidencia en el diálogo, las diferentes perspectivas de acercamiento, la polisemia y las tensiones detrás de conceptos y representaciones observados a través de una mirada epistemológica particular y necesaria para un territorio de integración tardía como el de la Patagonia chileno-argentina. En este caso, el libro se organiza en tres ejes. El primero, denominado «Construcciones territoriales en disputa», incluye trabajos que analizan desde distintos puntos de vista disciplinares las tensiones que recorren la producción de sentidos sobre el territorio.
