|
Una inflexión decisiva para el arte peruano es la que se define en la experiencia de E.P.S. Huayco (1980-1981) y sus antecedentes remontables hasta el año 1976. Así lo evidencia en este volumen el rescate y publicación de las fuentes primarias que dan además sustento a un extenso estudio preliminar. Reunidos aquí por vez primera, los documentos orgánicos de ese taller y otros grupos relacionados ofrecen un testimonio impresionante de las tensiones que hacen de aquel cambio de década un decisivo cambio de época. Materiales que marcaron polémica y brillantemente el ingreso del arte peruano a una (post)modernidad distinta y propia. La serie "Fuentes para la historia del arte peruano", iniciativa del Instituto Francés de Estudios Andinos y del Museo de Arte de Lima, está dedicada a rescatar escritos y documentos de importancia para el estudio de las artes en el Perú, desde el siglo XVI hasta nuestros días. |
