Das DFG-Projekt „Der deutsche Sprachraum aus Sicht linguistischer Laien – wahrnehmungsdialektologische Grundlagenforschung und die Rekonstruktion von Laienkonzeptualisierungen zur deutschen Sprache" hatte linguistische, geographische, soziale, kognitive und visualisierte Raumkonzeptionen von regionalen Varietäten des Deutschen aus der Sicht deutschsprachiger linguistischer Laien zum Gegenstand. Im vorliegenden Band werden erstmals Ergebnisse aus allen Bereichen der Untersuchung vorgestellt: Wie konzeptualisieren linguistische Laien ihren sprachlichen Nähebereich? Wie sieht die dialektale Landkarte (mental map) linguistischer Laien aus, wenn der gesamte deutschsprachige Raum im Fokus ist? Welche sprachlichen Merkmale sind für die Gewährspersonen salient (perzipierte und assoziierte Dialektmerkmale)? In welcher Weise haben linguistische Laien überhaupt Zugriff auf ihr eigenen Varietätenwissen und wie ist dieses Wissen strukturiert? Welche Sprachnormvorstellungen haben linguistische Laien? Wie werden einzelne Dialekträume konzeptualisiert und welche Einflüsse sind z.B. durch die regionale Herkunft der Probanden messbar? Der Band bietet somit eine vielseitige Literaturgrundlage für Forschende und fortgeschrittene Studierende. |
How do linguistic lay people regard German dialects and their speakers? Based on an empirical investigation conducted throughout the German language area, this volume documents various facets of knowledge held by linguistic lay people (ability to locate dialects, associated and imputed attributes of dialects, attitudes, normative notions, regional differences, etc.). |

Des républicains du xixe siècle, on n'a souvent retenu que quelques images réductrices : on se les représente volontiers en hommes des sociétés secrètes ou des clubs, en révolutionnaires le fusil à la main ou en éternels proscrits. Pourtant, si la République a fini par l'emporter, elle le doit tout autant à l'action d'hommes modérés, attachés aux idées libérales tant sur le plan économique que politique et soucieux d'apporter des réponses pragmatiques à la question sociale. Ville portuaire, en pleine expansion au xixe siècle, Le Havre offre un bon exemple de ce libéralisme républicain. N'a-t-elle pas donné à la République deux personnalités modérées de premier plan, Félix Faure et Jules Siegfried ? L'objet de ce livre est de nous présenter les républicains havrais sur le long terme.
