La bande dessinée confessionnelle franco-belge est issue de la pastorale de la jeunesse des années 1930-40. Elle a donné ses codes à l'illustration de l'univers symbolique religieux. Les hebdomadaires Spirou et Tintin sont nés dans ce contexte. Les récits catho-laïques des années 50 en ont prolongé les modèles. Les productions qui ont fait événement dans les décennies traduisent les transgressions et les ruptures qui ont bouleversé le rapport au religieux dans les années 1960-90, avec la contestation libertaire de l'héritage chrétien, le délitement de l'institué catholique et la critique des |
