Die Arbeit untersucht die Darstellung von Empfindungen im Prosawerk des jüdisch-rumänischen Autors M. Blecher: Aus der unmittelbaren Unwirklichkeit, Vernarbte Herzen und Beleuchtete Höhle. Die Autorin geht von der Beobachtung aus, dass M. Blechers literarisches Unterfangen habitualisierte Seh- und Denkweisen radikal in Frage stellt. Anders als die Surrealisten lotet Blecher selten die Interferenz von Traum und Wachzustand ästhetisch aus. Es ist vielmehr das virtuelle Vermögen der entregelten Sinne und Empfindungen, das eine wahrere Realität zu eröffnen verspricht. In der Aufladung des ,rohen' Empfindens als vermeintlich unmittelbarer Zugang zur Welt überschneidet sich Blechers Literatur mit philosophischen und phänomenologischen Diskursen der Zeit: mit Bergson, Merleau-Ponty



und Schapp etwa. Doch die poetische Prosa will selbst Medium der Einübung in anderes Sehen und Empfinden sein. In Zeiten der Sprachkrise strebt Blecher eine Sprache von aisthetischer Intensität an, die sich, auch wenn sie von Schmerz und Krankheit erzählt, stets der Sentimentalität verwehrt. Die Arbeit stellt den ersten monographischen Beitrag im deutschen Sprachraum zum Werk M. Blechers dar.
