Die seit 1980 erscheinende Reihe Vorträge und Abhandlungen zur Slavistik bietet Publikationsmöglichkeiten vor allem für kleinere Monographien, die ihrem Umfang nach zwischen Zeitschriftenbeitrag und großem Buch anzusiedeln sind. Aufgenommen werden Themen aus dem Gesamtbereich der slavischen Sprachen, Literaturen und Kulturen sowie ihrer Wechselbeziehungen.
