Long description: Der Tanz bietet in seiner exzentrischen Position Möglichkeiten körperlicher Selbstwahrnehmung und individueller Gestaltungspotentiale sozialen Handelns.  In dieser Arbeit wird gezeigt, dass mimetische Prozesse im Unterricht ein bisher unbeachtetes Potential für Lehr- und Lernprozesse im Tanzunterricht darstellen, bei denen performatives körperbasiertes Wissen und die damit verbundenen Emotionen im Zentrum stehen. Darüber hinaus zeigt der Autor, wie wichtig Gesten für die Förderung eigenständigen Lernens und einer positiven Fehlerkultur sind. Abschließend werden aus den gewonnen Ergebnissen Perspektiven für den Schulunterricht abgeleitet.
