Zeitlich reicht es vom frühen Mittelalter bis zur jüngsten Gegenwart. Band 34 enthält u.a. Artikel zu Johann Georg August Wirth und Heinrich Wittenwiler. Der Begriff der Literatur wird sehr weit gefasst, deshalb sind neben den Autoren der klassischen Gattungen auch Vertreter anderer Fachgebiete verzeichnet. |
The Dictionary of German Literature is one of the best-known and most comprehensive and reliable works of reference on German literature. It spans a period from the Early Middle Ages to most recent times. Vol. 34 includes articles on Johann Georg August Wirth and Heinrich Wittenwiler. The notion of 'literature' is defined very broadly, so the work contains not only authors from the classic genres, but also representatives from other fields. |
