Ces paroles, extraites de l'article « La bête-divinité - Sur la question du sexe » (1908), appartiennent à la poétesse Zinaïda Guippius (1869-1945), connue aussi dans l'histoire de la littérature russe sous le nom masculin d'Anton Kraïni. Première monographie collective en langue française consacrée à celle que l'on surnommait « la diablesse blanche », « la madone décadente » ou encore la « Sappho pétersbourgeoise », le présent volume interroge en profondeur la pensée et la vie de Zinaïda Guippius. En passant du concept de genre à sa théorie de l'amour, puis à son écriture poético-philosophique du genre et à sa posture face à ses contemporains pour laisser enfin la place à ses textes inédits, l'ouvrage restitue toute la richesse de son œuvre encore mal connue en France. |
