Sommario/riassunto

"This up-to-date volume expands the practitioner's therapeutic options and illuminates the rewards - as well as the challenges - of working with older adults. It belongs on the desks of frontline clinicians; graduate students and trainees in gerontology, general psychiatry, geriatric medicine, clinical psychology, social work, and nursing; and elder care lawyers. It will serve as a text in graduate-level courses and clinical practica. Although written for health professionals, the book will also fill a need for seniors and family members seeking authoritative information about mental health care."--Jacket.
