El presente libro es una recopilación de ensayos en torno a la historia internacional del socialismo. El volumen reúne 20 ensayos producidos por las y los integrantes del equipo de investigación sobre historia del socialismo del Centro de Investigaciones y Estudios sobre Cultura y Sociedad (CIECS), un organismo dependiente del Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas (CONICET) y de la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, Argentina. Los trabajos reunidos en este volumen tienen en común no sólo su preocupación por rescatar la historia del socialismo y del movimiento obrero, sino su enfoque explícitamente marxista. El marxismo es mucho más que un marco teórico académico: es una guía para la acción revolucionaria. El propósito de estos ensayos, por ende, no es sólo aplicar las herramientas teóricas del materialismo histórico al análisis de distintos aspectos de la historia del socialismo y de la teoría marxista, sino ante todo contribuir a la lucha por la emancipación de los trabajadores de la explotación capitalista. |
