Hyperfiction, digitale Poesie & Co. – seit Beginn der digitalen Revolution haben frankophone Autor_innen mit dem literarischen Potential der digitalen Medien experimentiert. Insbesondere im eigenen Land blieben den Werken aber bislang Publikumserfolg und literaturwissenschaftliche Anerkennung verwehrt.Elisabeth Carolin Bauer setzt eine Auswahl der Werke in einen historischen Kontext und wirft einen literaturwissenschaftlich-analytischen Blick unter die postmodern leichte Oberfläche. Sie zeigt: Die klassischen narrativen Verfahren sind im neuen Medium weiter gültig, doch ihre Ausformulierung in eigenen genuinen Techniken ist stets überraschend und virtuos. »Digitale Literatur« hat den Rang einer eigenen Mediengattung neben z.B. »Hörspiel« und »Film« durchaus verdient. |
